Spiral wound heat exchanger is a new type of shell and tube heat exchanger, which uses titanium spiral wound tube bundles, automated winding, more accurate control, full heat release, energy conservation and consumption reduction. Compared with traditional tube heat exchangers, the structure of spiral wound tube heat exchangers is composed of shell, tube sheet, tube bundle, core metal tubes, and other parts.
Unlike other heat exchangers, the core metal tube serves as a support for the tube bundle as it is wound and hollow inside. In general, it is required that the elongation of deformed titanium materials at room temperature should not be less than 18%. Due to the fact that the heat exchange tube is a structure formed by reverse spiral winding of threaded tubes, it has higher heat transfer efficiency compared to various commonly used shell and tube heat exchangers in China. Good turbulence effect, high heat transfer efficiency, low probability of impurity deposition, and low tendency to scale. The spiral winding structure completely eliminates the pulling force between the heat exchange tube and the tube plate, greatly improving its service life.
